Resources for community supporters

The census is one of the most important sources of information for our country. Census data are vital to your community for planning schools, daycare, housing, hospitals, emergency services, roads, public transportation and employment skills training.

In preparation for the 2021 Census, we are asking community organizations, associations, municipalities and other community supporters to partner with us and spread the word about this great undertaking. By encouraging members of your community to apply for census jobs and complete their questionnaire, you will have a direct impact on gathering the data needed to plan, develop and evaluate programs and services.

Statistics Canada is launching several toolkits to provide you with the tools you need to reach out to the members of your community and encourage them to play an active role in transforming their community. Do you know of other organizations or associations who could use these toolkits? Spread the word!
