• In 2016, 1,330 children aged 0 to 14 and 3,045 persons aged 65 and over were enumerated in La Haute-Gaspésie, representing respectively 11.8% and 26.9% of the total population.
• The working age population (15 to 64) represented 61.3% of the total population. In comparison, for Canada the proportions of children, of seniors and in age of working were 16.6%, 16.9% and 66.5% in 2016.
